The Edmonds Civic Center Playfield has undergone a transformative upgrade, with A1 Landscaping and System Solutions of Washington joining forces to complete the final phase of construction.

This revitalization marks a major milestone in the city’s long-term vision for accessible, community-centered green space in downtown Edmonds.

The newly redeveloped Civic Center Playfield spans eight acres and now features an inclusive playground, multi-use sport fields, a skateboard park, tennis and pickleball courts, a walking track with outdoor fitness equipment, and the Hazel Miller Pollinator Field. A1 Landscaping played a key role in shaping the final landscape elements, bringing precision, beauty, and durability to the site’s hardscaping, irrigation, and planting zones. System Solutions of Washington provided strategic coordination and project support, ensuring seamless collaboration between contractors, city officials, and community stakeholders.

Together, the teams delivered a vibrant public space that reflects Edmonds’ commitment to sustainability, recreation, and civic pride. The upgraded park now serves as a welcoming hub for families, athletes, and visitors alike—enhancing quality of life and reinforcing Edmonds’ reputation as a destination on Puget Sound.
